Senior students will have the opportunity of working with a practising artist who will talk about their own working methods then mentor the students through the process of refining ideas toward a series of works. ArtStudio will assist teachers in delivering the curriculum by providing learning experiences in the unique environment provided by the Gallery and its displays. ArtSmart will address the achievement objectives for levels 5 - 8 and focuses on more structured analysis and research by interpreting and communicating ideas as well as understanding the contexts for art. It is directed to students who are required to analyse and research topics in art. It can be tied to research projects and used as a tool for the development of student's own ideas or as a response to specific exhibitions or artists work.
