Artists

The 2nd Auckland Triennial 39 artists' projects will be installed at the Auckland Art Gallery, The University of Auckland's Gus Fisher and George Fraser galleries and ARTSPACE.

The artists have been selected because their projects present a range of powerful, poignant and disturbing ideas. One of the questions the triennial poses is ‘What purpose does privacy serve? Indeed, the exhibition sub-themes focussing on Identity and Hybridity, Love, Joy and Despair..., Private Desires, Public/Private Surveillance, Social Structures and The Divided Self, will explore this concern.

Artists are grouped by these main themes as listed above. Individual artists pages can also be accessed through these links.
