'Reveal the invisible'

I first thought about the building and gallery as general architecture, as a living thing that has its own intestines. The guts of the building that isn't in public view. The idea was to reveal the invisible part of the building so it would make insignificant features, visibly significant and visual. Like air conditioning, air vents and humidity controls. Based on my own imagination I created a version of these features.  I thought about an engine or heart of the building that controlled all of the systems. I wanted to animate those features into sculptural forms.
