Thanksgiving Foundation

Formed in 1998 the Thanksgiving Foundation’s intention is to build a collection of international master works. To date these include Frances Hodgkins’ Refugee Children (c1916), the Gallery’s first Picasso painting, Verre et pichet (1944) and Michael Parekowhai’s Story of a New Zealand River.
