3pm Graham Dawson - the art of setting a table
Auckland's premier caterer Graham Dawson will show the whole family how to turn an everyday meal setting into something quite amazing as well as introducing a wow factor into those pre dinner nibbles.
10am to 5pm Muka Print Exhibition
The unique national travelling exhibition that may only be viewed by children aged between 5 to 18 returns to Auckland Art Gallery. Forty, limited edition, original lithographs by twenty prominent artists from New Zealand, Australia, Europe and Asia will be on display and may be purchased for $60 unframed.
1pm Riki Bennett - Traditional Māori food
Riki Bennett (Ngati Pikiao, Te Arawa, and Ngati Porou) speaks on traditional uses of plants by Māori. His demonstration include various food gathering traps, nets and materials that, in the past, Māori would have used in their daily lives.) Exhibition entry charge Taste: Food and Feasting in Art
