1pm Gabriella Trussardi - Fashion of Rita Angus
Rita Angus's sharply-defined paintings crisply captured the lines and details of the clothing of her many portrait subjects. In this lecture AUT University lecturer Gabriella Trussardi will look at the depiction of garments in some of Angus's work, and put these clothes in context in terms of how fashions were acquired, cared for, and worn, during the 1930s to 1960s in New Zealand.
