Lynda Hallinan - growing your own veggies
Join self-confessed plantaholic, self sufficient inner city gardener and magazine editor of New Zealand Gardener Lynda Hallinan as she discussed how best to prepare and plan for a a vegetable garden.

As well as writing about New Zealand gardens, Lynda travels to all the leading international shows each year - from Chelsea in London to Chaumont in France - to report back on the latest design trends. In 2003 she also managed the publicity for the 10th Anniversary Ellerslie Flower Show at the Auckland Regional Botanic Gardens. Lynda also appeared in the first series of Ground Rules in 2004. Lynda lives in Auckland where she shares her subtropical courtyard garden with four hyperactive cats.

Never gardened at all before she got the job as editor. She was drunk when she declared on New Years Eve that she would sustain herself entirely from her garden for a year, and waking up sober she stuck with the goal.
